Holy...😨

The graphics on this...will make your phone heat up enough to cook an egg, BUT they just put it on PC and it is soooo fun. The graphics look like it could be a movie, and honestly I want it to be. It's a great game to find new friends and go on sick adventures as a little moth! The …

An absolute fave of mine, discovered the game while being in a very bad mood, and entering this weird and floaty world soothed me. You can fly, you can walk, you can glide, it's a game where you appreciate all the little moments, all the tiny details. You can simply rest and allow yourself to melt within this world. I first played it on the Switch, and was AMAZED with how well the clouds and overall game looked on this console.

While this game is reminescent of a past game of thatgamecompany, Journey, it is not made with the same things in mind. The multiplayer aspect here is much more important, it's a social game and not only an experience (even if you can journey through the game alone if such is your wish).

Here, it's not just one silent partner that you will find while you play, but an endless possible stream of strangers, as it is an MMO. But not any MMO : you will not see any floating pseudo and milllion differents skins. When you don't "light up" the other player, they stay as shadow like silhouette, this helps not feeling overwhelmed with too many players everywhere.

So if you jumped in this game thinking it was like Journey, you may find similarities yes, but it may be a trap to want it to act the same.

The biggest charm of this game resides in the beautiful sceneries it builds seasons by seasons -as it is a free to play with season pass and a new area to discover every season- and all the unique encounters you can do while simply wandering around.

You wil have all the time to dive in its universe, and appreciate this world, before being aware of any in-game purchase you could do.

The lightness of the clouds, the grass, flowers, water ; the sound effect, the far away chirping, the noises of all the player going meep meep far away, the wind ; the music, the peace it provides, the ones you can create with your instrument!! ; the fluidity of your movements, the fun you can have while simply moving around slowly, very fast, gliding, flying !!! ; the other players you meet, for a minute or for hours, the fun you can have with your friends while flying away together, walking in unisson, the surprises you can have while going through an invisible wall (as anything is possible if you really wish for it in the realms of Sky) ...

The overall atmosphere of the game is simply perfect, and it keeps on growing, as the developpers add more and more things to the game each season !

You can easily give it a try without fear, as it's free to play but one of a kind in its category : it's not predatory and will not scream at you with all the million items and skins you could possibly buy.

If you like exploring aimlessly in video games in general, this game may be THE game for you, like it was the one for me !

You play as a small character with an ever expanding fly ability that has to rebuild a once-mighty civilisation. I see that thatgamecompany likes to stay on its comfort zone.

I've been playing this on the Switch and i can't really say im super happy with it so far.

I've been playing this on the Switch and i can't really say im super happy with it so far.

I love Journey, i've played it several times and bought it 3 times and would buy it once more for Switch if that was possible.

Flow and Flower were also really nice experiences.

Sky on the other hand... it's jus too close to Journey not to compare it to Journey, and so far it just feels like a step down from what Journey is.

Journey is much older now, but so much more polished. Sky feels clunkier in movement (annoyed everytime it keeps me from walking off a ledge) the multiplayer feels much more disconnected than in Journey, and for some reason they've decided to include a textboxes and icons and menus to this one. There's also a lot more locked camera stuff in this which also makes me feel less free than Journey made me feel.

Im not against them trying new things, but this is just too close to Journey for these changes to the formula.

I hope my feelings changes as i go along, but this message telling me to buy season pass and me having to wait for someone to help me open a door until suddenly 2 people pop into existance and opens the door for me, has me not feeling hopeful.

The Android beta finally opened up the other day, so I'm finally able to play this! It's definitely still in beta - lots of kinks and bugs to work out - and I don't personally like playing games like this on my phone, so I'm hoping the Switch release comes before the end of the year. So far, though, it's …

This looks gorgeous, and reminds me a bit of AER, which itself was bit like Journey with flight. It looks like a very pretty and relaxing game. Looking forward to it.
