After rebinding the insane default key for melee ("v"?! just... what?) i went through all of the tutorials while my brain was telling me this probably was a bit much. I don't like basically any game where you only have a tiny area to fight in but for its kind this doesn't seem bad. It's just a bit... much.

When you reload your pistols a little bar shows up and you can press one of three buttons at the right time to do something. You get shotgun ammo by meleeing. You can suck up orbs by pressing Shift and then doing a big boom by pressing right mouse while holding shift. You can counter with melee. You can do this, you can do that.

It's probably really neat if you are the niche target audience.

A really polished feeling twin-stick shooter that also incorporates melee combat. This feels like it's going to be a hit with a certain crowd that loves fast paced twin-stick action and heavily stylized violence on repeat. I don't think it's for me, but it seems like a solid title.
