You know this games a lot harder than I remember it being when I was a kid, maybe it's because I used to play more sidescrollers when I was younger, but now I barely touch them.

Awesome game. So easy to pick up and play, with a perfect level of challenge for me due to its bite-sized levels preventing any real frustration of starting over. Lots of fun and interesting boss fights and levels — I particularly liked a few that morphed into completely different forms at random. Pretty cool character progression and some nice, charming character art and animations. This is the first game of this style I’ve really been able to get into, so I’d definitely recommend it. Will be checking out other games from this developer soon, particularly Gunstar Heroes which I’ve heard great things about
