Wasted potential
I was expecting so much from this game, coming from the same developers of Dragon Quest XI. The presentation of the game is great, from visual, to animations, to music etc... Read moreI was expecting so much from this game, coming from the same developers of Dragon Quest XI. The presentation of the game is great, from visual, to animations, to music etc... And the characters are as charming as they are in the anime. That's where my praise ends, however. While the different characters have different strengths and weakness in paper, the way the gameplay works make them very redundant. The combats end too quickly to need any sort of planning and the rock-paper-scissors combat mechanics are so overpowered that it is the only metric you need to use in deciding who attacks who. In summary, they had great potential but that was sadly wasted with badly implementation.
