Drop in to Olliwood and prepare for finger-flippin’ mayhem in this follow up to cult skateboarding smashOlliOlli. The iconic skater is going all green-screen with a stunning new look, plucking you from the street and dropping you squarely in the middle of the big screen’s most bodacious cinematic locations.

I forgot how truly addicting these games are. I was reminded of OlliOlli after the IndieWorld showcase like a week ago when they showed OlliOlli World, so I picked up the collection on sale on Switch. So easy to lose hours to this game.

How long did it take? Maybe five or ten minutes. Give yourself an hour break and do the experiment again; this time turn the sound back on. I'd even recommend cranking it as loud as you can get away with in your current location.

Okay. How long did you play that time? My guess is you forgot about the experiment. OlliOlli isn't driven solely by its music, but dang does it help. The gameplay is already very 'arcade sportsy', but the music convinces you that you're hanging out in the most lights-flashing, DJ-shouting, glow-in-the-dark-adult-beverage arcade of all time and you're 21 again and you have six pack abs and some girl you think is a babe tells you that you are good at the game but not in a mocking 'what a dweeb' kinda way but in a 'this guy is hot and I want to smooch him' kinda way.

Three stars haha.

It's not really my thing and I bet the controls work much better on mobile than on the PC with controller.

8.5/10

I don't like that you have to press a button to land, but I ended up being pretty forgiving of it because it's a great looking game, with great audio, and it's addictive trying to get good at stringing tricks together.
