Very cool retro aesthetic and weird pulp fiction B-movie storyline. I would have loved more than an hour and a half of this visual novel, but I'd much rather be left wanting more than wishing it would end.
A decent enough story. I only played through once but I suspect you can't really alter the outcome since most choices lead in two directions; game ends with the character's death or the plot advances. There are a few really simple "puzzle" minigames that need to be completed in a specific order to advance the game. Basically, a very short simple story that feels like a forgettable episode of "Friday Night Monster Theater" or some similar late night, low quality B movie from my youth. It plays well on the Deck.
Do you love trash pulp literature from the 50s AND visual novels in the style of the old computer games from the 80s? Great, because that's the only way you're gonna like this title.
I mean it honestly. There's a niche for this game and they're gonna love it... but not the rest. The plot is laughably bad (on purpose because is imitating a very specific type of stories), the mechanics are boring and the puzles are really slow. But It has a very strong feature: graphics. The vignettes are amazing works of pixel art and the main reason to keep going is to see more art.

At least is very short. You can finish it in less than an hour. You can play again to reveal more art a dialogues by choosing different options, but nothing that changes the plot.
