An excellent puzzler with beautiful artwork, animation and sound. Uses the tenants of the medium well. I enjoyed how each puzzle is tied together with a loose story. I can only infer that Lara is looking for some treasure or whatever the mystery of a tomb will hold. A giant serpent stops her at every turn. It’s digestible enough for mobile. I only had real trouble with one puzzle where it took 5 or 6 sessions/looks.
You know I absolutely LOVE the modern Tomb Raider trilogy. The element I like the most about those games are the tombs, because I'm a sucker for puzzles that make me feel like a fantasy archeologica explorer in the vein of Indiana Jones, Nathan Drake or, of course, Miss Lara.
This game feels like take this misterious and intriguing puzzles everywhere. I played it for several months in waiting rooms, boring visits, power outages and sleepless nights and I finally watched the credits. I loved every second and how smart it make me feel when I finally resolved a puzzle that resisted me for a few tries.

Actually, the puzzles are not really hard. Some are tricky and requiere a lot of thinking, but are not really complicated and that's perfect. I didn't wanted to get frustrated, just to keep my brain busy with something insteresting for a dozen minutes at the time. The difficulty has a nice rhythm and the game introduces new elements before the others get tiresome or predictable.
It also has an amazing artstyle and, even if it has the most barebones plot, I just enjoy playing as one of my favorite video game characters.

I said I finished the game, but I haven't completed the DLC. Those proved to be actually difficult. That's great for people who wanted a greater challenge, but it's not what I want from a mobile game I play in 'slow' moments of my day.
Most mobile adaptations of console and PC games are, in a word, terrible.
Hitman Go seemed to buck this trend by distilling and abstracting the traditional Hitman formula into a mobile puzzle game. Lara Croft Go goes a step further for Tomb Raider, and this time adds some more narrative elements.
Each of the game's 40ish levels takes place in the same adventure - from discovering the tomb, to finding keys to enter its inner sanctum. dealing with a major threat, and even an escape sequence. Like the game itself it's a very simplified experience, but it really works.
Levels gradually introduce new elements, and the difficulty curve is largely based on how well you can master how each element interacts with each other. For example, a snake will kill you if you approach it from the front. However, if you can find a torch then the snake will move back a space, potentially onto a floor plate to solve the puzzle you're on.
I played it on the PC and it still clearly felt like a mobile game - as in, you'll be using your mouse like it's a virtual finger. Still, it didn't take away from the experience …

The were also two bonus levels that came for free. I appreciate that they added them, but they were way harder than the base game and that's not really what I was looking for.
This is one of the first mobile games I've played all the way through. It's a clever little puzzle game that was a pleasant activity to chip away at on my tablet before bed. Toward the end, a few of the puzzles began to feel a little repetitive, but overall it was a joy from start to finish.
I absolutely LOVE the original Tomb Raider series of games, and this felt like a wonderful call back to the feeling and atmosphere of those games. The puzzles were very satisfying to complete, and the design was just incredible. Took me by very welcome surprise, and the even the references to past games like in the outfits and the sounds (SECRET SOUND IS THE BEST!!!) just made it a very wholesome experience. Was a brilliant not too difficult challenge to attain all collectibles too, and the outfit attainment made it very much worth it. I highly recommend this quality little game.
Solid puzzles and presentation. My main issue is with the pointless pixelhunts of weird coffers and some microtransactions.
Lara Croft GO and Monument Valley 2 are free for a few days on mobile platforms.
Great and not to challenging puzle games. Perfect to kill time during quarantine while watching beatiful environments.
Also started this one on mobile. (I was bored during about 30 minutes of trailers and ads waiting for 'Creed II' to start and had to do something to pass the time. I hate when theaters do that).
You already know I love Lara Croft and this style of short puzles is filing the void 'Monument Valley' left in me. Loving it so far.
Ive been gaming a very slight amount. Currently in an airport getting ready to come home from vacation.
Played this game a bit in a cabin before bed and plan on delving deep into it during the three hour flight. So far so good. Nice puzzles, challenging baddies at times, fun levels.
Can't wait to get back and continue building my retro machine. Already made a list of parts i need to buy and work left to do.
