Been playing this like crazy lately cause it's super low key and chill, and boy am I dumb cause I just didn't know you didn't have to do the requests to make progress nor did I know that if you just revisit every area multiple times new Pokemon show up. I'm dumb as hell, y'all.

Finally finished this. All 4 photos of every Pokemon. All research maps completely filled in and at max level. All requests done. I don't have all the research titles, but I really don't care. Some of them require online and I don't (and can't) do online.

I'm honestly having so much fun so far? As an IRL amateur photographer, I absolutely love this game. I understand that those who were expecting a game with less accent on visuals might be disappointed, but for me it's everything I've ever wanted, and more. I love editing my pics and posting them online + looking at what others have done. I want to take silly pics of pokémons and put goofy filters on; I want to take aesthetically pleasing pics, and however I'm feeling when I'm playing, I can do both.
Spamming fluffruits on pokémons to get 2 stars pics still feels mean, though. I don't care if they're light and can't hurt them!!!!!!!
Also can we talk about Todd's glow up? because damn

Still pleasantly surprised by how entertaining this is. I thought it would get a bit boring in short order but, while it’s not one I’m burning to sit down and play all the time—as evidenced by the fact that I’ve played a total of six hours over like two months—it’s the sort of game where I intend to play it …
Still pleasantly surprised by how entertaining this is. I thought it would get a bit boring in short order but, while it’s not one I’m burning to sit down and play all the time—as evidenced by the fact that I’ve played a total of six hours over like two months—it’s the sort of game where I intend to play it for 20 minutes or so but then don’t end up putting it down for an hour. I’m not sure how long that will last (and to be honest I’m not even sure how long it is), but for now it’s surprisingly engaging.
It’s really quite pretty too, especially on the OLED Switch, though I still maintain that Pokémon in 3D have always looked sort of lifeless due to the total lack of texture. They always look like they’re made of plasticine. Still, it has plenty of pretty lighting and particle effects, and general cool nature/wildlife scenes.
