I see what this game is going for, but way too much of the play time is spent with a truly dull stealth system. Like it clearly wants to be "Silent Hill, for kids" but I don't think kids would have the patience for it.

Really sad to say, but I think the world would not have lost much if this stayed on Stadia. Like I'm glad it escaped, I even got a physical copy, but... Yeah, I'm really bored with this one. Time to drop it on eBay.

Even though I have mixed feelings about the overall execution of Gylt, I am happy it's going to be available to more people:

Some good news coming out of the Stadia shut down, Gylt is coming to other platforms. I didn't outright love the game, but I did appreciate its Silent Hill references and the fact that it achieved genuine creepiness from time to time. My major criticism was that it was locked to Stadia, and Stadia itself performed poorly enough that my Gylt experience was diminished. It will be nice to play it locally on a console where things like compression artifacts won't be present in the abundant shadows and other dark corners of the game.

Gylt is enjoyable so far. Enjoying the Silent Hill homages and the gameplay is engaging.

Stadia, on the other hand, needs work. One of the biggest issues, especially in Gylt, is that Stadia streaming doesn’t handle black well. There tends to be a lot of artifacts/noise in the blacks which goes a long way to hurt the atmosphere in Gylt.

Two months of Stadia Pro is now free, starting today. I just signed up. So far it's the worst of the streaming services I have tried out. The lack of wireless gamepad support and limited phone support don't help Stadia make a great first impression.

It is a shame this is only available on Stadia. It looks like it would be something my partner and I would play. But I definitely wasn't going to order the Stadia Founders pack just to access this.
