Unorganized and directionless

A lot of people trying to recreate the feeling of retro survival horror games need to realize that Survival Horror games had a clear direction from the get-go, you never felt this amount of aimless, Survival Horror games had amazing map design akin to something to a Zelda game!

The idea of combining Roguelike features with survival horror seems like a match made in heaven, and I know that it's been done really well quite a few times. The general idea of the game is to have you act like a bumbling idiot lost, which is probably why they made the art style this annoying and unpleasurable to look at the more you spend time with it, things start looking like the same. Also Italy is not that interesting.
