Lamia's Game Room is a quirky take of the classic old maid card game with a dark, gothic atmosphere reminiscent of the Danganronpa series. In this death game, you are given 2 souls, which will decrease as you lose a game by being stuck with the maid card- in this case, the "Lamia" card. The match will end when 2 other opponents lose all of their souls.

Although the game presents a simple and intriguing premise in the beginning, it falls short as there is actually not much covered as the game progresses. There should be at least more interactions with other characters to make them more interesting. Plot issues aside, the major design flaw of this game is its heavy dependence on luck. Sure, the first few levels are actually fun as it lets you try to outsmart your opponents, but the last two levels lets the AI to cheat, rendering the bluffing options useless. Heck, I was even lucky to beat the last two levels with only 3 losses each. There are several issues that need to be taken care of, don't let that hinder you to play and support this $1 game. The game itself is actually fun when played on short sessions.
