There is a large difference between the PS4 and PS3 version of this game. The PS3 version is "meh" at best, but the PS4 version is worlds better. The game play is much better than previous generations.

In my opinion, this is the best 2K basketball game since 2K8. They have improved nearly every aspect and also added some awesome new features. The game has so much depth, I spent hundreds of hours on this game. It runs well, My Career is very improved, the game looks gorgeous, plays the best the series ever had gameplay wise and the presentation has been turned up a notch. The only gripe I had with the game was I wish you had the option to skip the cut scenes in My Career. Also you don't need to spend a penny. You have the option if you want your player to be GREAT right off the bat, but what is the fun in that? I enjoy bringing My Player from someone who is meh to someone who is an all time great to feel that grit and determination in real life and in this game. I got a good amount of VC by playing Career mode and the odd quick match with my Celtics.
