10/10 Dent-ests Recommend ;-)

Get your filling of puzzles in this crowning achievement of a simple game, Sure to leave you with a mouthful of cavity inducing sweetness to say about your experience. Enjoy making friends at The Habitat, a place for those with frowns to turn them upside down with your help! An adorable and equally unsettling short point-and-click adventure game, if you enjoy making others happy and solving puzzles this game is for you!

Nodding and Shaking your head is how you will answer the habitats and adds a bit more immersion and gives the game a bit more personality. However the game can occasionally have a bit of difficulty recognizing your input and it might take a few more nods or shakes to register.

Music is delightful and easy to listen to, changing from area to area keeps you from growing tired of the same tune.

Characters are all fun and interesting to interact with, usually having new dialogue after completing other quests, showing certain items, or after the start of a new day.

A Day and Night Cycle with a few time specific quests to keep you exploring the Habitat at different times. The days are long enough to keep you from feeling rushed and giving you plenty of time to complete a few objectives a day. There is a curfew in place and you will need to return to your room at night or risk being reprimanded. You can go to bed any time past noon if desired and fast forward your time after obtaining a certain item early in the game.

Puzzles range from simply finding an item for a character to multiple steps needing to be taken, opening new areas, and granting you new items to use either for character interaction or to complete another task. If you’re stuck on a puzzle try talking to the habitats as they will usually provide clues on how to solve you current task.

The Style of the game is a mix of simple 3D environments and 2D cut-out characters. No area feels too cluttered with objects or people keeping environment feeling clean and easy to maneuver. The design of the characters are cute and recognizable, keeping you from being confused about who’s who once you get to know them.

In short if you’re looking for an enjoyable puzzle experience to play for a few hours at a good price you should give this game a go.

Liked Dropsy? Try this next!

Fun game, many characters to know and love, did need to look up hints but you shouldn't need to if you pay reeally close attention.

tylerisrandom's review of Smile For Me
This review is for the PC (Microsoft Windows) version

I really enjoyed the game's cartoony aesthetic, far-out color palette, silly puzzle solutions and quirky dialog.

As endearing as those elements are, the game's first-person 3-D structure never fully clicked with me. It makes some typical point-and-click adventure tropes (backtracking for fetch quests, pixel-hunting for interactivity, cycling through inventory items, skipping through dialog) seem more tedious than usual.

No matter how many times I tried I couldn't get the Y'owl to land on my hand at the tire fire located in the circus during night, waited there for that long that I got the penalty for not going to bed multiple tries.
