Loved the game but now kinda bored.

LOVE this game. Played the heck out of it. I didn’t really do the storyline so much until the end and am still finding some Easter eggs but now I’m kinda bored with it. I have started over with different types of towns but then it’s just same old all over again so kinda bored with it now.

There's a reason everyone loves this game

Everyone I know who's played this game has had nothing but good things to say about it. I myself am a massive fan - I have spent hours playing, and it's so charming and full of depth that I had started over a couple of years later in multiplayer with my sister.

Everyone I know who's played this game has had nothing but good things to say about it. I myself am a massive fan - I have spent hours playing, and it's so charming and full of depth that I had started over a couple of years later in multiplayer with my sister.

It's essentially like Harvest Moon for adults (due to some heavy themes brought out in certain character stories). The game mechanics are great - standard farm simulation with a little bit of sword-swinging in the 'dungeons'. You have the option to romance characters or simply improve relationships between all of the village NPCs, unlocking their rich backstories and/or character arcs brought on by their relationship with your avatar.

There's plenty to still accomplish once you have finished the main storyline. The creator eventually added further updates to the game because it was so popular.

I will say that I played this on PC and that my friend who got this on the Switch did not care for the gameplay as much. I haven't played it on the Switch myself so I don't have any particular opinion about this in terms of platform, but I'm putting it out there in case anyone is on the fence about which platform to play this on.

As of writing this, the creator is working on another game, and I can't wait to see what they do.

Why everyone should play Stardew Valley

This game is absolutely wonderful. It make your heart feel full as a player. Building relationships and bring a town back to its glory. The graphics are stunning, the music is charming, the game play is easy to understand. Being able to play with friends is also a bonus. The actual best part about this game is how it incorporates …

This game is absolutely wonderful. It make your heart feel full as a player. Building relationships and bring a town back to its glory. The graphics are stunning, the music is charming, the game play is easy to understand. Being able to play with friends is also a bonus. The actual best part about this game is how it incorporates real life issues in a way that is easy to digest while not losing its value. I cannot recommend this game enough.

Stardew Valley is an extremely relaxing and fun game. The variety of activities to perform keeps the player glued to the screen and turns this into one of the most addictive games of the last years. It deserves to be played by anyone with access to it.

It's Harvest Moon!

If you played Harvest Moon, then you know what's this game all about. The art isn't appealing enough to me to get me hooked. I rather play Rune Factory because of it's fantasy theme and attractive character's art. Don't get me wrong though, the game is good and fun to play just like Harvest Moon.

Harvest Moon for PC

You can think of Stardew Valley combining Harvest Moon Rune Factory Animal Crossing and Terraria. This kind of game was missing in PC, the Harvest Moon that I love in my consoles, but better. Cultivate, improve things, marry, have children, kill monsters or mine. There are many things to do, so I think it's worth every cent.

What's the scoop on this thing? It seems kind of like the new underground hit that all the cool kids are playing. Anyone playing this and care to comment on what it is and who should play it?

I'm super excited to play this game. It looks like a wonderful cosy little timesink, really addictive, and it's a completed game! Can you believe it, an indie game but it's NOT in alpha?? That's unheard of these days. I've peeped, the game looks really well-made, beautiful sound, gameplay, graphics. I'm actually scared to sink my teeth in because I …
