Sonic P-06 is a platform game developed by Argentinian programmer "ChaosX" for Windows. It is an unofficial remake of the 2006 video game Sonic the Hedgehog, originally developed by Sonic Team and published by Sega for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. The remake features many improvements over the original source material, such as improved controls, faster load times, enhanced visuals, various bug fixes, restored dialog, and brand new mid-level cutscenes. P-06 has a huge cult following and an active speedrunning community. As of August 2023, nine demos have been released, containing all main acts from Sonic's, Shadow's, and Silver's campaigns.
