Despite the fear of repeating this message too frequently, I'm continuing to get the word out that a small group is planning to start a casual multiplayer session of Baldur's Gate 3 in the near future, and we are looking for a fourth member. All interested are welcome to let us know, whether it will be your first time playing, or tenth. The group plans to play casually so that means no rigid schedules, just an attempt to get together with the understanding that life gets in the way and sessions can sometimes get postponed or rescheduled. I haven't finished the game yet, but if it stays this strong the rest of the way through, this will be my game of the year for certain. Some of the other major releases this year were a bit disappointing for me, so this has been great and deserves its praise.

I've tried to get into this game, but after about 6 1/2 hours I'm just finding this game a slog & that my choices just lead to me dying in combat more often than I'd like. Maybe CRPGs aren't for me, I don't know. I couldn't get into Divinity Original Sin 2, Pillars of Eternity or Dragon Age: Origins either. …

I plan on trying Disco Elysium at a friend's behest though, so who knows, maybe I'll enjoy that more...

So I've been using the previously posted / recommended SteamDeck settings for BG3, and I'm really pleased with them....

They lock the FPS at 24 and don't use FSR, whilst at the same time crank up several other settings to produce really nice sharp details. I don't mind the 24 FPS lock, as for me it doesn't really affect …

The latest patch introduces FSR 2.2. Is there a new "best settings" guide? (I've googled around a bit and haven't really come across anything concrete).
I'm pretty happy with the original settings so haven't changed anything yet and don't intend to (ie my FSR remains "off") unless there's some sort of significant improvement.
