I played through this one mostly as a curiosity, but it ended up surprisingly not bad. It's a solid little rhythm game for the DS, along the lines of Elite Beat Agents and the like. Tap the screen at the right place and at the right time, to the rhythm of the classical music, and watch your cute low-poly anime girl skate about the ice. At times you will move the stylus in a circle a bunch for a big spin, or tap a bunch of icons scattered across the screen to pull off some fancy footwork. It all feels better than I expected it to, and the presentation in general is quite nice.

The "as a curiosity" I mentioned earlier has to do with how there are two different versions of this game with the same name. The release in Japan (which I played via a fan translation) has anime-style characters, while the release in EU and NA scrubbed out all of the anime from it and changed up the style of gameplay a bit (from what I can tell in Youtube videos). The latter version looks like shovelware IMO, but I'm sure it made sense from a marketing …

The latter version looks like shovelware IMO, but I'm sure it made sense from a marketing standpoint at the time. (The DS had loads of "general audience" games and was quite mainstream at the time, while anime was not as much so, especially compared to now.)

My main negative point I suppose is that this game is just really short. Just a story mode of 10 short songs/levels, and freestyle mode to just pick the song/level you want. You can earn points to buy a few new costumes for each of the four girls though, so that's something. I'll also note the game is quite easy (not surprising, given the target audience), and I think it would've been nice if there was more variety to the music.
