I do believe when I last played, I was helping some Brubus with rankswaps + seeking out some Threshers. Been a hot minute, but not so long that I'll feel out of place when I pick it back up, fortunately.
Wandering around and just. Slapping things with my weird, thumbless hands is good zen time.

About 90% of Crashlands is "harvest resource > build new crafting station > upgrade armor/weapon slightly > be able to harvest new resources". The story and dialogue are actually somewhat entertaining but the gameplay is a snoozefest. After a few hours i had like 8 different crafting stations and "level 7" equipment. The story and dialogue are actually somewhat entertaining but the gameplay is a snoozefest. After a few hours i had like 8 different crafting stations and "level 7" equipment. I imagine the rest of the game is literally just an endless upgrade loop.
On top of that the combat is really boring. They call this an ARPG but there are no skills, special attacks or anything interesting. It's just attack/dodge over and over again. Ugh.

Mediocre, yet imaginative, Crashlands is a game for those with a strong stomach for repetitive gameplay and oddball humor.
