Good and short. The last levels get a bit challenging for the most part, but having good reflexes (for dodging shots and getting criticals) is a must for this game. Unfortunate hearing that the studio behind this game got shut down... I really liked the game and think it could have easily had an even better sequel. Definitely worth checking out if you missed it.

Finally finished the last boss for this which concluded the main campaign. Been working away at completing the game for over a year now and it's been a really fun experience. Awesome work from the 44 devs at Roll7

I’ve failed to advance past the Houston Mall level about 25 times. And the two times I scrape past the guy I always die on (the riot guard) with low health I find there’s a whole squad of enemies left. This might be the moment I acknowledge that I’ll never beat this game.

Still playing this, beating the NG+ levels and trying for highscores. This is absolutely unheard-of in my gaming history, but the game is so smooth to play that I can't help it.

I'm finally getting better at this game. I went back and replayed previous arenas and started to get good scores (even an S!).

I love this game.

Looks beautiful and plays smooth as butter. Really hard to get high scores, though, but fun to try.

Really enjoyed my first few hours with this game. The art style and direction is charming, the gameplay loop is simple but extremely satisfying.

It reminds me of a simpler time in gaming when games gave little to no context for the scenario you've found yourself in, you're just thrust into the gameplay and I'm enjoying every second.

Had my eye on this for a while, it looks great. Anyone here played it? Hoping its a nice combination of skating mechanics with casual shooter elements. Been looking for a game to chill out to

This isn't Rollerdrome specific necessarily but it's something I'm realizing as I play- the DualSense is probably my favorite video game controller to date. Something that frustrated me to no end about last-gen controllers is that Joy-Cons and the DualShock 4 were SO expensive to replace because they had all this incredibly sophisticated technology crammed into them, but developers never USED the tech so you were just locked into paying for largely obsolete functions. If you wanted to replace a drifty Joy-Con, you had to pay for HD rumble and IR sensors knowing that the LABO variety kit was the only game that was ever going to make use of them. But with the DualSense it truly feels like every developer, first and third party, is trying to make the most of what it has to offer. Every gun in Rollerdrome has different haptics, they FEEL different to shoot. It's a small detail that a game like this definitely doesn't need but it's so cool that it's there, and I've been noticing it across the board on PS5 games. Okay, rant/praise OVER.

I have a feeling that this game will be very difficult for me and I'll get stuck multiple times but just the tutorial is a ton of fun so I don't regret getting it.
