Five months later and 100+ hours and I'm still playing this a few times a week. With all items unlocked, 50+ wins and now this:
...I think I might finally consider Balatro "finished." Maybe.

By mere accident, i.e., leaving the laptop on and somehow (yes, I do mean it), opening Balatro on my laptop, having no idea that I left it on thinking that I turned it off, it has almost reached the rare 100 hour gang. I want those 50 hours that I "played" gone.

After less than 5 hours of playtime I had to put this game onto the "abandoned for now" shelf. Sorry game this is on me not you.

The game runs fine and is fun to play, except I can't bring myself to play more than two rounds then I just don't want to play another round and even don't want to play anything anymore and turn off my PC.
I can only guess what is causing this and I think I trained myself so well to stay away from anything that resembles real world gambling, that a game that uses Poker cards and Poker rules with blinds and chips and on top makes me buy card packs triggers my inner alarm to stay away despite this game not having any connection to real money. There are no microtransactions and gambling for real money, but I react to it as I would to that. :(

Good news. I have slowly been withdrawing from Slay the Spire now that I have gotten everyone to Ascension 20 after over 400 hours on the Android version. I still do daily runs though.
Bad news, I got into Balatro.
