This is probably the highest quality visual novel I've played, though I'm still new to the genre.

This visual novel allowed me to relax while other games were too taxing for my anxious mind. The landscape and character art are wonderful throughout and I was surprised by how fitting the music painted the scene alongside the visuals.

I won't talk about the plot since it is the core gameplay but I enjoyed it. It takes place in a rural coastal town during a futuristic post-apocalyptic setting. I actually learned a few scientific things, which is a favorite of mine when a plot can educate and tell a solid story simultaneously. While the cast isn't diverse by any means, the main character does have a physical disability that didn't seem to be written inappropriately.

There isn't any sexual content besides a single scene where the main character accidentally face-plants into cleavage. The heroine's voice has a childlike vibe but otherwise I think this passes any "yikes" age gap or lolita content between romantic partners.

I recommend this game to those who want a relaxing reading experience.
