While the game and its many challenge modes is addictive enough, you're also graced with fragmented glimpses of a delightfully insane zombie horror plot in the background. You never actually get any coherent storyline, but there's something beautiful in the bits and pieces you collect. A cheap and wonderful way to waste a weekend if you enjoy efficient tactical placement/gonzo alt history comic books/putting the unholy dead to rest.
