A solid puzzle game set in a fantastic, absurdist, zombie-infested 1960's Mexico, Atom Zombie Smasher tasks you with rescuing as many survivors as you can from undead ravaged cities while arranging your mercenary forces to slay every infected SOB in sight. While the game and its many challenge modes is addictive enough, you're also graced with fragmented glimpses of a delightfully insane zombie horror plot in the background. You never actually get any coherent storyline, but there's something beautiful in the bits and pieces you collect. A cheap and wonderful way to waste a weekend if you enjoy efficient tactical placement/gonzo alt history comic books/putting the unholy dead to rest.
