Run and gun neo retro action that falls short.

The idea of an '80s Saturday morning cartoon-inspired game sounds like it has potential. Unfortunately, Clash Force is nothing but a good idea that does not have the best outcome. The idea of an '80s Saturday morning cartoon-inspired game sounds like it has potential. Unfortunately, Clash Force is nothing but a good idea that does not have the best outcome. Things like lack of depth, repetitive level design, and overly simple game mechanics make the game not that entertaining or memorable enough. What it does have going for it are good visuals and upbeat retro music. Other than that, the game is too casual for my liking. If you want to kill an hour or maybe even two, Clash Force can be something that may worth getting. If not, this is a pass.
