Checking out an old clone war base that's been overrun by raiders now back on Koboh. I can dash mid air now, and I can force push things up and pull them down - I'm learning all kinds of new tricks!

Cal standing in a high republic jedi training area with his lightsber out. walls either side of him and a gap with light beaming through the centre of the image Close up of BD-1 droid looking into the camera whilst inside a droid base wide angle shot showing the inside of a clone war era base. Mechanical structures showing some kind of rail network system for cargo low angled behind cal walking away from the camera through some infrastructure piping systems with a red glow coming from below the grilled floors

Landed on the Shattered Moon base today and looked around for some clues relating to a mysterious device. Raiders got there first but I managed to find what I was looking for and salvaged a new saber out of it all. Short trip overall and back to Jedha now to hand over what I've found.

Shattered Moon research centre base showing a wide angle shot of the entire base. Base is futuristic looking, white in colour, and features various modules, pipes, and equipment. Traversing inside the factory, holding onto a flying robot in mid air as cal dangles above fire and heated mechanical equipment between two walls close up of the knight saber modification, showing the new guard addition to the saber. The blue saber flares out at the cross section of the guard. cal standing in a corridor with his saber in a defensive position as 3 raider droids run at him to attack.

The highlight was seeing Merrin again, as well as the rest of the group. They've built a base on Jedha now and are even starting to restore the Jedi archives! I took some holiday snaps of the adventure!

I've just left the starting planet, Koboh, and wanted to share the holiday snaps I took along the way. Really enjoying the photo mode, it's been a nice outlet as I haven't picked my real camera up in a while!

96hrs into this puppy, and I earned the Platinum Trophy... man, That was Fun!

It was my 2nd in this series (4th overall), and just as fun to earn this one, as it was the first.

This game is Not without its' flaws, as there are quite a few glitches. "Thank You" to all the You-Tubers and helpful gamging sites who put together tutuoriols, and walkthroughs, to get me through this. I couldn't (and wouldn't) have done it without you.

What an awesome time to be alive in this era of the gaming. As a Gen-Xer, there were many games that I never saw the end, let alone, 100% of a game. Those poor coders who literally wasted their time writing code for parts of the game that most of us never saw. Honestly, my trophy was considered "Ultra-rare" @ 3.5%, but still, we see more of the code now than we Ever have.

I'm looking forward to #3 in this series. Hopefully the drama in the 'ole developement team won't effect the experience I've come to enjoy in the SW Jedi sereis.

Bigger and Bolder than its prequel. This story is more plot-driven rather than character-driven, so it took me a while to get emotionally attached, but I did end up caring about what would happen next. And on a mechanical level, it's just a straight upgrade, with more stances, enemies and setpieces. Excellent sequel :)

Forget the combat, environments, and characters... It's the next-gen hair dynamics that have grabbed my attention! I didn't think it would make that much of a difference in a game but it's a really neat touch to see Cals hair swish about whenever he jumps, falls, or moves in a dramatic way.

I wonder if it's all physics based or if it's a pre-rendered animation? Does he use product or a simple conditioner?

Cool star wars and a good concept, but generic open worldy mishmash, some bad plot points (I really didn't like the twist and thought it was sort of poorly done), and performance issues make this just okay overall.

I just realized I hadn't actually finished this game when I marked it as done -- there's still some final fight.

But I had already gone collecting all the stuff I wanted to, and fought some of the final bosses (like the obligatory guy in the all-black suit and mask), and had like one play session left... and then I forgot about it.

So I think that tells you something about the game's story -- it's not the main reason I played it, for sure. Really I was there for the exploration in Star Wars worlds, and the power fantasy of using a light saber -- but in the late game it's actually kind of too easy.

I was able to get it working at a mostly stable 30 fps by cranking everything down to low & using resolution scaling. So it played but actually looked worse than playing the first one on PS4. If I knew they would eventually be releasing a PS4 version of Survivor I would have probably waited for that. In fact, I did pick the crossgen bundle up for 27.99 with both PS4 & PS5 versions of both games. I will probably do my next playthrough on that. (To be clear I do not own a PS5 and if I had the cash to buy one, I'd probably use it to buy a modern GPU for my PC.)

Finally gotten around to play this. 10 hours in and I'm still having a blast but I have some thoughts.

I'm usually not a fan of RPG-fication of games but I felt like this game would be the first to benefit from it. I don't mean turning it into a full blown, stats-heavy RPG but more like a lite-RPG, something like God of War 2018. The open world maps are huge and filled with various activities (which, thankfully, are not marked on the map like most open world games) but the rewards are almost always cosmetic pieces. It's cool and all but I just can't help but wish these pieces have an actual gameplay effects. For me, that would be a great motivator to actually explore the world. After spending few hours exploring the entirety of the first planet, I'm probably not gonna do it again for other planets in fear of burning out before reaching the end credits.

Also, Turgle is the best character so far.

Good news for physical games lovers (like me): the PS5/XBox X disc had a mandatory download, but the PS4 version, that has been released later, has the complete game in two discs.

It's weird. It's ironic. But now I can buy a version of this game, since I will never ever buy a mandatory download game.
