Picking up shortly after the original, River City Girls 2 once again put you in control of Misako and Kyoko - as well as Kunio, Riki, and a few new characters - as they set out on an all-new beat-'em-up adventure across the mean streets of River City. New moves, new enemies, new recruits, new environments, and the return of an old foe await, along with the same over-the-top sense of humor and adrenaline-pumping combat of its predecessor. The game will also feature two-player co-op action both locally and online.

HOOORAAAY!!! Finally got the Platinum Trophy for this awesome beat'em up :D. Such a fun game, especially with friends! Achievement hunting though can be very rough since the game requires you to not only beat it twice, BUT worst of all, it doesnt offer a way to track what food items you ate, and it can be unclear what you need to do for the "Completinist" trophy.

Still chipping away at "The Completionist" trophy, made a bit more progress and wrapped up the last of the enemy recruits for the Luchadoras and Tigerman!

In my quest to Platinum this game, I'm now on the dreaded final "Completionist" trophy. Currently working on recruiting all the enemies... only problem is, there's like 10+ enemy types, 4 variants of each enemy type that can appear on screen, and the RNG is craaazy xD. Time to put on some background YouTube videos and just slog through it

Trying to 100% the game and maaan... why they forcing a 2nd playthrough + do all side quests to get the Platinum trophy.... still love the game though.

Tried to play it with my wife because we really liked the first one. Sadly it felt slow, heavy and boring. The performance on Switch was also awful.

We stopped playing quickly and started a new run on TMNT: Shredder's Revenge, which is so much better.
