I saw this pop on the new this week on Switch store list and the Developer description mentioned inspired by Broken Sword, my favourite game of all time, so thought why not if anything support a little dev.
Well it may be inspired by Broken Sword but fails to come close due to obscure puzzles and lack of gripping story. There was one puzzle in particular on a vespa that even though I knew the solution trying to pull the timing off due to Switch controls and precise timing made it frustrating. The Switch controls could do with a tweak, even by the end I never got the hang of it. Some times movement is via stick then it's d pad and selecting into items was never intuitive.
Nice first try. Hopefully their next game will build on it.

Have you ever seen a game that at first glance interests you, however upon a closer look it's part of a completely different genre than which you are used to, making you hesitant to try it out? This is that game for me. I was never really into Point and Click games. Still, the artstyle of this game somehow drew me closer making me wonder if I've been too harsh to Point and Click games. It most likely also has to do with the fact that the moment I saw the game's artstyle it made me think of Detective Pikachu on the Nintendo 3DS, and transformed me back to last summer. Having been one of my favorite game (and movie!), I just had to relive the moment by playing this game!
As already mentioned (sorry! One last time), this game has an amazing artstyle! The perfect brightness of the colors that perfectly blend in with the occasional darker segments of the game are something you rarely see in games. …

As already mentioned (sorry! One last time), this game has an amazing artstyle! The perfect brightness of the colors that perfectly blend in with the occasional darker segments of the game are something you rarely see in games. If I had to compare it to something I would say the use of color is similar to that in a happy kids game. The graphics are also beautifully sharp. Of Course if you zoom in too close they get sort of pixelated, but with that amount of zoom you can't play the game properly anyway. What also really got me is that the game features fully spoken dialogue. Every action, every NPC, every choice (yes, you have choices in the dialogue you speak), is brought to life by the developers decision to implement dialogue for everything there's to offer in this game! It really makes the player feel as if they aren't just playing ‘someones’ game, but are in the game ‘themselve’. It's one of those things where you have to experience it yourself to fully understand and appreciate it. Oh, and don't worry about the storyline! I have rarely played games which get the suspense up to a plot done correctly. Instead of somehow emerging in the middle of the plot, just for there to be a bigger plot, this game does it the traditional way by immersing you in a preplot which slowly builds up suspense (the good thriller book way). The story is an amazing crafted story which keeps players thrilled to the very end.
Lastly, after having focused on the games art and story, now comes the most important part of all my reviews: Is the game worth the price? Well, let's discuss, shall we? While the price may seem steep to some, it's cheap when one compares it to the amount of playtime and story they are getting. Maybe I'm just bad at puzzles, but I could never never have completed this game in the minimum completion hours of 4 (according to Howlongtobeat). It took me almost 7! Further, as the game bases itself on semi accurate history in real locations, this is a perfect opportunity to learn while gaming! A lot of the things In this game, I would have never even thought of searching up, and yet here I am knowing about Lithuanian history (well sort of). You rarely find such games nowadays. All in all, I would say that based on all the aforementioned reasons, that this game is worth its price for the enjoyment and knowledge it brings. Good luck, upcoming adventurer!
