I played this one in VR, and it's a good fit if you get motion sickness because the view is always from a fixed security camera. They do a good job building out an interesting dystopian world. I played this one in VR, and it's a good fit if you get motion sickness because the view is always from a fixed security camera. They do a good job building out an interesting dystopian world. The totalitarian government watches everyone with the cameras, so it's a nice fit together. There are tons of audio logs that help flesh out the world. The primary gameplay is stealth and it can be a bit janky, but I still had fun making my way through the story and levels.

Just finished Episode 2 of 5, part of me wants to keep going, part of me wants to drop the game. The setting and story is really intriguing, the whole gameplay feels... weird and clunky, so that's definitely a bummer. And I heard a lot of bad things about the ending and episode 4 in particular, so let's see...

I started and tried to get into Republique over the last few days, but I just don't enjoy it. Decided not to torture myself and I'm just giving up.
