Replayed, re-enjoyed

I've just finished playing Eufloria HD, a longer, better remake of the original. It's still mostly the same, but played in short bursts, it filled a niche in my gaming habit. While it's mostly repeats itself, there are some level that require a change of tactics, and the vibe was always cool.

Barely qualifies as a game

"Anybody can play". Mostly because the game is just waiting for your spores to grow and gather before you take the next asteroid. I've played stuff that came on floppy disks that had more depth and value.

Seedlings for All

An interesting take on a classic tower defense feel. Instead of building towers at strategic points, you place your seedlings on planets to attack distant worlds, or defend choke points that protect your seedling supply lines.
