Now that the reviews are out, I can safely say I'm going to skip this game for now. While it's nice that they have improved on a lot of things from Splatoon 2, I was really hoping for something different. Either a drastically different single player mode, or a really cool new multiplayer mode. I loved Splatoon 2 (And Octo Expansion), but I already played it to death and I'm just not in the market for an iterative sequel at the moment. I'll probably check it out if it goes on sale in the future.

I'm surprised no one on this site has popped in for a chat about Splatoon 3. The direct makes it look great! I know it is a side thing, but I'm into the idea of doing the Splatoon card game.
