Played this last night with the family. Overall I like it and thought the puzzles in the base game were well done. I think it does well enough to walk the line between having items in the world snap to the right spot but not always activate and lead you too much to the answer. For example, in one case the crowbar looked like it could open a sarcophagus but in actuality it only opened other boxes in the room.

Agree with the critiques that the rooms are very small. Also disappointed that none of the levels we have played so far have multiple rooms. With real life escape rooms, it was always immensely satisfying to open up a secret door and find another giant room with additional puzzles and items to investigate. The lack of that here feels like a big miss.

A good remote escape room two player game with a variety of themes that have decent art and effects. There is room for improvement, especially in the the partnered solving elements...most if not all puzzles can be solved alone. Still I recommend it as we had fun and there is some parallel solving involved.
