A Disappointing, Inferior Rehash
This review is for the Nintendo DS version

I was a huge fan of the first two Golden Sun games. I didn't play Dark Dawn until many years later. What a disappointment. It is nothing but an inferior rehash of the first two games. It's also one of the most ridiculously easy RPGs I've ever played.

I like to pretend this game doesn't exist. But sometimes, I remember and then I get the sads. :(

As a huge fan of the original Golden Sun games, I was extremely annoyed at how easy this game was. I felt like it was impossible to miss anything and the puzzles were mind-numbingly easy. I still really love this formula and this franchise, but this one didn't hit the mark for me. It also felt like this this game was a lot shorter than the originals, though the length was still decent.
