Amazing, complicated, but satisfying.

I'll probably never put enough hours into this to feel like I truly played Disgaea, since it's such a long game and to get to what makes it tick takes a lot of hours that I most likely won't be able to put in. But I just want to quickly say for the record that this is an incredibly deep game with a lot of systems going on. Some might not be entirely necessary but they are there for those who want them. The combat is some great tactical RPG stuff, the visuals are cool and some of the characters are humorous.
My only real complaint is that the story isn't interesting enough to warrant all the talking. It kills a little bit of the flow, but aside from that Disgaea 5 is pretty great.

This game just came out. Favorite ongoing SRPG series atm. The games in the series are long, they're funny.... and I have no time, so I can't even humor the thought of buying this game and playing it.
