Just Shapes and Beats is an awesome game. I think it does a great job in combining the frantic bullet hell formula with the precise on-beat action of a music-based game. It’s a shame that it lacks online coop campaign support, and some of the attack and beat sequences of the game can feel a bit cheap and unfair at times since the attack patterns sometimes aren’t telegraphed properly, which means it can be very difficult to dodge… but other than that, Just Shapes and Beats is a solid game and I would recommend gathering a group of friends for an afternoon and running through it. The shapes are awesome, the beats are awesome, the game is just awesome.
