We've arrived at a stupid place where MS is charging $25 for 5-day early access. That's $5 extra dollars per day to play it early. Sure they throw in a couple cosmetics to disguise the fact that they can literally charge people 35% of the cost of the base game for the opportunity to play the game 5-days early, because the early access is really what the keeners are willing to pay for. They did it for Indy as well, and it feels like this is just the new AAA grift that has developed over the last few years, charging people extra to access a game on its launch day. I feel like it just used to be multiplayer games, but now its everything.
Or let's be really honest, they are charging extra to play on the real launch day, with everyone else having to wait five days for a delayed release. Infinitely stupid.
