I have played dress-up doll flash games on the internet while bored. They can be fun for like a minute haha, so i downloaded the demo fully intending to play it for an hour and get bored.

BUT NO. This isn't just about dressing up cute dolls. It's about helping a bunch of girls achieve their DREAMS.

You run a fashion boutique. Girls will come in and tell you the story of why they need new clothes.

• "I have a job interview in 30 min and I just tripped and fell in the mud. HELP!!"
• "I just moved here & have no friends. Work girls invited me out but they're so classy and I only own jeans. HELP!!"
• "I am super plain jane but want to look like my fav sexy action star for the movie premier!"
• "My friend has a concert. I wear lolita clothes and tend to stand out but don't want to upstage her. Help me dress boring!"

The one about the girl wanting to make friends hit me in the feels, man. She never had a best friend. The girls at her work were super fashionable and she really isn't. I helped her go on several girl's night outings... until she found out one girl was just as weird as her. 😭😭she came back from each hangout with photos of her and the girls, and was just so excited to tell me about her new friends. And omg. She eventually brought her new best friend in the store, and they were excitedly telling me about an all-turnip restaurant. Cause they're weirdos. Precious weirdos who finally found each other. 😭😭😭

The actual gameplay.. customers come in with a request and you have to make an outfit matching their request. There's something like 24k different items in the game (heavy breathing). I just unlocked menswear! There's a cafe, bakery, park, etc. to take cute photos.

There's a talent agency in town who commissions you to help their stars plan stage costumes and outfits for appearances. You can choose what style (between 2) to go with, and the song they sing will vary based on that. In fact, throughout the game you have dialog choices that add character and humor to the game. They may not significantly change the course of the plot, but for example... there's a melodramatic composer character that different characters have to work with to make music. During a quest to help the menswear shop give this wackadoodle an outfit, he's like "please help me!" and 3x in the conversation you have choices between like "Oh dear, you can do this!" vs. "Yeah good luck with that BYE!" bahaha.

This game is just super fun. it's so good and pure. I love it so much. It has a WEALTH of content and never gets repetitive/boring because of how every customer has their own story arc.

I also deeply appreciate that this game could have been about forcing people to adhere to beauty standards, making "ugly" girls "beautiful" so they can be popular or go on dates... and while there are some girls whose story arcs involve asking out the guy they like, they're framed as "I need something to give me confidence to express myself" instead of "Make me hot so he'll want me." This is just... such a positive game, with seemingly endless content (I've played it steadily for over a month and I haven't even gotten a single customer to her full 5 hearts yet and only unlocked half the designers).

The writers really took the time with each story, and the translation (I'm assuming it's a translation) is flawless.

I just love it so much okay.
