I was curious how the release was going to be handled when Proud Nordics was announced like four seconds after Ys X came out in the west: I shouldn't have been- it wasn't handled. Aside from a discount and save transfer only for owners of the Steam copy, I don't believe there is any upgrade path for owners of Ys X on any other digital storefront. Oh and also your dlc you bought for the base game is null and void for this new version of this same game, if you want to own the things you bought for this new, ~special~ version, go buy it again. This time Adol is wearing Groucho Glasses—have fun.

I love Ys a lot; Ys X is great. Do I love it enough to buy it again for what is essentially the same game with QOL and an extra dungeon for one hundred dollars?

Um, no? How about go eat rocks??? What's WRONG with you????
