I'm hoping to enjoy this game but the Specter Knight level is one of the most frustrating experiences I've had in a very long time. There was a whole bonus area that took me forever to complete that only gave me a few green coins for my troubles. The boss himself is several leagues above Black Knight

With Plague of Shadows finished, I have completed the Treasure Trove pack. Plague of Shadows had its own moveset that I found tricky to get used to, so I was afraid that I wouldn't stick around as long as I did with other Shovel Knight games. With Plague of Shadows finished, I have completed the Treasure Trove pack. Plague of Shadows had its own moveset that I found tricky to get used to, so I was afraid that I wouldn't stick around as long as I did with other Shovel Knight games. I'm glad that I kept coming back to it, because I could eventually breeze through most of the levels. Worth it for the cute story, too!
