Extremely silly
WiC has a really dumb story. The Soviet Union demands money because the Cold War has hurt their economy so they try to fix this by... invading Western Europe and the US? Even worse, when the US has been at war with them for 4 months the SU manages to land troops in Seattle by hiding them on unmarked freighters …
WiC has a really dumb story. The Soviet Union demands money because the Cold War has hurt their economy so they try to fix this by... invading Western Europe and the US? Even worse, when the US has been at war with them for 4 months the SU manages to land troops in Seattle by hiding them on unmarked freighters that magically get past the US navy. Obviously Homefront is a million times worse but it's still nonsensical.
Gameplay-wise it's kinda dull. You start with some troops and you support them with air strikes and air drops. The campaign desperately holds on to your hand, guiding you from point A to B to C to D to E and on. I don't care for it but you could do worse.
