Peggle 2 is a puzzle video game where you shoot balls at orange and blue pegs in order to finish the level. You have to hit all the orange pegs in order to complete the level, and you can shoot the blue pegs to get more points. You can hit green pegs which give you a special ability which will help you clear more pegs faster and easier. There a multiple different funny characters you can play as, and each character has a special unique ability.

I don't know what the hell's your problem?! Me? I LOVE Peggle. Don't tell me I don't love Peggle, when I love it so much..Ok?! Leave me alone with my hamster and my unicorn and my owl. I 100%-ed everything and I platinum'd it on two consoles. They dropped a few DLC's, which I bought and beat. I wish they made more of these so I could play them too. Fantastic game. A 'game-to-bring-to-a-desert-island' contender!

This review is for the Xbox One version

Peggle 2 is one-button joy. You think, you aim, you fire, and you sit back and watch as massive combos and bright popping colors take over. That it’s such a joyful sequel to an all-time classic stretches my grin from ear to ear, just like most of the rest of Peggle 2. The only downside is there's really nothing really new or innovative in this version of Peggle, but you know you have to try it.

Good enough without quite reaching the heights of the original Peggle. Mostly, the available levels feels a bit limited compared to the first. Didn't take too long for me to crank them out. There was also no elevation of the concept.

I loved the first Peggle. Good game, good game. Peggle 2 though, I just didn't care for as much. I think a lot of it boils down to presentation. The characters in the first Peggle were generally pretty cute, but for Peggle 2 they're mostly rather obnoxious. Preferred most of the special abilities in the first one as well. At the end of the day it's still Peggle though, so it's okay. Kind of wonder if they'll ever make a third one? I sure hope they announce it at E3, the same way they announced the second one.
