Played this for a bit. Was pretty excited to try it out but it’s just not what I want at the moment. I do think it’s possibly a lot of fun. If this is a genre you enjoy, but I was hoping it would be something a little different.

Wow, this is actually really good. It's still early access, but I think this has Monster Train/Slay the Spire potential. Wow, this is actually really good. It's still early access, but I think this has Monster Train/Slay the Spire potential. It's a deck builder/rogue-ite with the twist that you choose three heroes (I think 15 planned. 5 or 6 currently in the game), and the battles take place over 3 lanes. You build a deck for and equip each hero independently. Map exploration is on a hex grid with a time limit and interesting tiles.

The gameplay is already well-balanced and very fun. I'm a big fan of the art. The sound design is a little lacking, but they've specifically called that out as placeholder, so I'm not too worried.

Anyway, this is definitely an early access game that I'll do a run or two for each update. Highly recommended. I'll hold off on a score until it's closer to complete, but it's shaping up to be 4/5 or 5/5 for me.

Side note - It's not at all real-time like this page says haha. The artwork is correct and it is by Supercombo, so I'm guessing the real time bit was just outdated info.
