I love this game.

This game gets too hated for what it is. All the mini games are decent! The only one I really don’t like is Pose Mii but, can ya blame me?

A classic

I absolutely ADORE this game. I know that many people may not agree but hear me out. The art style is a true Nintendo classic. It brings me so much joy to see Nintendo games in this specific style (Wii sports, Wii play, etc). The music is great. And the mini games are so fun. The ability to play with …

I absolutely ADORE this game. I know that many people may not agree but hear me out. The art style is a true Nintendo classic. It brings me so much joy to see Nintendo games in this specific style (Wii sports, Wii play, etc). The music is great. And the mini games are so fun. The ability to play with friends and family makes this game excellent. Racing cows or seeing whoever can catch the biggest fish. It’s all fun. The only downside I can see is that some of the games are less exciting. Overall. I think this game deserves much more love than it gets.

Wii Play is a decently fun, though very small game. The whole game consists of a collection of 9 minigames that are designed to introduce you to using the wii remote controller. The games are as follows:

Shooting Gallery - You point and shoot at various targets from balloons to targets to alien ships trying to abduct your miis.
Find Mii - You go through a series of 99 levels trying to find the mii or miis that match the condition (2 look-a-likes, fastest moving, odd mii out).
Pose Mii - Move your character around the screen and switch between 3 poses to match the bubbles falling down to the screen to pop them.
Table Tennis - You are rallying with a computer and have to try to return it as many times as possible. The computer will never miss. The game ends when you do.
Air Hockey - A simple air hockey game against a computer. Try to get more points than the computer.
Billiards - A simple game of pool where you have to hit the balls into the pockets in order (from 1 to 9).
Fishing - Try to catch as many fish as you can in the time limit.
Charge - Control a cow and run down a track hitting as many scarecrows as possible. The track does not change each time though.
Tanks - You control a tank and go through the course trying to destroy all your opponents. There are 20 levels initially but once you beat that it unlocks 80 more.

Once you've played through all 9 mini games, the game will tell you to try to get gold on each of them. You can get bronze, silver, and gold medals on these games just like you can for Wii Sports, but they've also added a Platinum medal for players who really want to test their skill (and patience) with these games.

Pros:
- The tanks mini game is a lot of fun and with 100 levels to play, it's by far the best mini game in the whole game. It could almost be its own game.
- Find Mii offers a fun challenge and has a lot of replay value.
- Multiplayer is pretty fun and adds a new dynamic to some of the games that might get stale in single player.

Cons:
- Only 9 mini games total
- Many of the games (besides the ones mentioned above), get boring after a couple playthroughs
- Only supports 2 player multiplayer

So overall, I'd say that if you don't spend more than $5 - $10 on it (unless you're buying one with a wii remote), then I'd say it's well worth it. It'll entertain you for a little while and the multiplayer is fun to do every once in a while.
