Some of my fondest memories are of roaming around the map, or just searching the towns for player stores, or simply finding people to group up with. The music, the town design and overall atmosphere is stunning. Although the current versions are completely different from the game i remember, it will always have a special place in my heart. Personally, i cannot recommend the game for people that never played it, unless you have friends that have been through the golden times, there are still some private servers of "classic" chronicles online, yet they are mostly filled with russian or portuguese speaking players. All that said, i will still give this game a 10/10
