Worthless

I cannot tell you how much I hated playing this repetitive-glorified ad for Finding Nemo. Its the same level over and over in a pattern but just with a different font. Dont play it.

As far as movie based video games, Finding Nemo isn't half bad. The license is represented well and could appeal to anyone, but mostly kids of course. Graphics and sound are fine but there are some really cool levels and puzzles in Finding Nemo. The gameplay is basic however, as you swim through rings, pop bubbles and collect corals. Some details are clever and cute, like krill acting as your armour, swimming behind you as you collect them. You can also play as Dory and switching back and forth to solve some puzzles is fun and rewarding, I guess.

I had it on the PS2. I heard load times were cruel on the GameCube, and the Xbox version was supposed to be the superior copy. Does anyone else remember playing this back in '03-'06? I mean I wasn't a kid or anything, but I loved the movie, and the game was cheap, so we didn't expect much. We enjoyed it for what it was, and Traveller's Tales did an ok job. | 2,5/5 |
