I had no idea how far I was going to get with the game this time. I just opened Steam a few days ago, and saw everyone over hyping the game's latest updates saying how much it has been fixed and offers more content, more challenge, so far and so on.
I started the game went with the highest difficulty just for the fun of it. I wasn't planing to do something particularly long or spend long time with the game like the last session in 2022. and well, it for the entirety of the week, it did not crash one single time.
Look, I just updated my machine to Windows 11 a few weeks ago with a full clean install. so this might be a part of the reason contributing for the game not crashing. one bit during my gameplay sessions. furthermore, I did not feel like things have changed a lot. it doesn't slow down from the many NPCs or characters or whatever on screen like it used to earlier. I used to think this was a performance problem from my PC, but I guess they fixed it. the core gameplay is the same. the UI was better …

I used to think this was a performance problem from my PC, but I guess they fixed it. the core gameplay is the same. the UI was better organized, and somehow, the game became far easier than I remember. the part where you start to manage multiple studios to do stuff like creating a console, or online games is where the game feels like it has ran out of things to do for you. the same as with games like Game Dev Tycoon, Mad Game Tycoon, and whatnot.
I remember liking these games of "Playing through the videogame history" type of business sims, but they kind of grown dull to be honest. you know that at one point in the play through, you feel like to got it all, experienced it all, and there is nothing left to explore and enjoy. I feel like these specific type of games are far more limited in play time than even a short decent indie game you could find on Steam, even of these type of games that I'm mentioning could suck more time out of you without you noticing a second has passed. at the end of the day, if you still enjoy these video game history business sim, be glad because they are far limited in content and play time than you may think.
This game is decent if you want a more In-depth Game tycoon with all the bells and whistles unlike Game Dev Tycoon. There is more under the hood than you could imagine, and you love the content this game offers compared to it's peers.
However, this game is not stable at all, a little bit Unbalanced, and some of the gameplay elements can be to buggy to work. This game crashes frequently and it become way worse when you manage multiple studios.
You can get about 20 minutes of game time before the game kicks you out and decides it wants to crash for Zero reasons. If you're lucky enough, you will be able to get 24 minutes of gameplay, but if your late in game years with a lot of studios to manage, then prepare to launch the game about 8 times in less than an hour.
TL;DR [The game is decent and offer variety of content and fun, but not balanced and can be a bit glitchy, and Crashes a lot]
