RoadTo360 9, Planet 51: A Quick Cash Grab

I am on a journey to beat 360 random Xbox 360 games. Here is my next adventure.

Game 9 was Planet 51 the game. The only good thing about this game is that it was only a few hours long. I hope I never have to look at it again. This is a racing/driving game based on the movie Planet 51.

Maybe I would have liked this game a little more if I had actually watched the movie back in 2009, but I didn't. This game is bad. There's no other way to describe it. All you get to do is a series of tasks that involve vehicles. These tasks range from mowing the lawn, to delivering camera supplies, to valeting cars around a parking lot. These tasks sound about as good as they feel to play.

The story is about an alien world, where an American astronaut lands on. The astronaut is then treated as an alien and is forced to figure out a way back to his ship and off the planet... SO WHY AM I VALETING CARS AROUND?

Don't even get me started on the sound and graphics. The character models are awful and only have a couple animations. The voice acting is some of the worst in video gaming and doesn't match up with the character's mouths at all. All of the cutscenes stop abruptly and it feels like lines were spliced together from 10 different recordings.

Overall, do not play this game. There is no reason to play this game at all. If you like the movie (which I have not seen, nor can comment on) you still don't want to play this game because it is a waste of your time. (0.5/5 The worst score I will give)

I dragged myself through 4 hours, 50 min, and 35 seconds through this mess.

Total time spent on the Road To 360 challenge: 102 hrs and 22 min

Next game: Mass Effect
