Amazing concept but not so good execution. The atmosphere is weak. I don't really feel the danger of an alien invasion. And I don't know much about Earth Defense Force series but, seriously, is this humanity's best strategy to defeat aliens? To send a bunch of guys against millions of huge insects and giant robots? Gameplay is repetitive and guns …

Amazing concept but not so good execution. The atmosphere is weak. I don't really feel the danger of an alien invasion. And I don't know much about Earth Defense Force series but, seriously, is this humanity's best strategy to defeat aliens? To send a bunch of guys against millions of huge insects and giant robots? Gameplay is repetitive and guns feel like water pistol. Eventually I quit playing at the middle of second chapter. I hope someday we can see a big budget alien invasion title.
