23 year old me did sit through the whole game and finish it though...idk why...guess i didnt have nothing else to do......
So this game is on PS+
I played through it with my 4.5 year old who loves Ben 10 over a couple days while also playing Ben 10(2017). Both of these games are pretty poorly made but still capture some of the fun of the alien powers. Both games completely fail to capture the vibe of the show or the conflicts that they face. You can see the outline for a good game but the quest design is horrible, the worlds are empty and the enemy variety is incredibly limited.
This game is a mediocre open world while 2017 is a 3d side scroller. The combat in 2017 is better but this has better mobility and puzzles. By the end my son could play everything except for boss fights. I had a good time playing these games with him but wouldn't play more than 20 minutes on my own.
Recommending Ben 10: Power Trip on the Xbox is difficult, because everything comes with an asterisk. It’s a refreshing difference from your traditional licensed kids game, as it attempts an open world BUT that open world is lacking in content and interest. It can be explored cooperatively BUT only if you stay joined at the hip. The platforming and combat are fun BUT you’ll have to fight the camera while you do it. If you’re desperate for a Ben 10 experience on Xbox then it might be enough to scrub out those asterisks and give it a go.
que hicieron con ben 10 por dios, antes ben 10 era mi héroe, ahora parece mi nieto.
