It could be recency bias but I kinda think Spy Fox 3: Operation Ozone is the best episode of the series, thanks to its structure, the puzzles, the characters, its humour, the writing, the pop culture homages… basically everything a Spy Fox game is made of. I laughed, I had fun, my daughter loved it and she basically solved it all by herself, with just a couple of tiny suggestions from me. Sadly, this is also the final Spy Fox and (sadly) after this game Humongous only published two more point and click adventures, Putt-Putt 7 and Pajama Sam 4 (which we already played), before being shut down by the very impolite Infogrames in 2006. So I guess our long (four years!) journey through the adventures published by the Ron Gilbert founded studio ends here, in an explosion of happysadness. Now I will go lie down on the couch in fetal position.
