Countess in Crimson is an adult point-and-click visual novel game. The story begins with a young couple getting stranded while on vacation and stumbling upon a strange secluded village filled with even stranger villagers. Throughout the story, the player is able to make dialogue choices that will impact the relationship with your girlfriend and those around you.

The love interests are all female. Their character designs are ridiculously busty but their outfits are cute, except for the girlfriend's default outfit. It is bothersome how ugly it is.

There are four different endings and unlockable scenes depending on your choices. In the settings, there are also options for the type of spicy content you want to encounter during your playthrough. Since it is a short game, replaying to make different choices and view different endings is very doable. DLC has recently been announced that adds more love interests and additional spicy scenes.

I enjoyed the moody gothic horror vibes this game offered and think it would be a great choice to play in the fall.
