It's hockey, it's good stuff. This is my first NHL game in a long time, so I can't really compare it to any of the other iterations released in the past decade. This one plays fine though, and gives you plenty of options for how simple or deep you want the control scheme to be. I'm still struggling to get the hang of all the specific moves you can pull off with the more complex controls, and goalies especially seem difficult to work with. Lots of different modes to mess around in though. Graphics look great too, of course.
